It started as a story about a dog from a dog's perspective.

Nicky is a stubborn, 55 lb. pound English bulldog with limited patience and a self-righteous attitude.  She lives in Manhattan with her sister, Paris, a Yorkshire terrier, her brother Oscar, a long-haired tabby, and a tall guy with a beard that serves as her personal assistant.

Nicky has opinions on many things, and is thoroughly convinced that her way is the right way.  She also believes there is always a way that you can get more comfortable, and she is willing to do whatever is necessary to find it.
